Dear Barbara, I am a parent and K teacher. My child brought home an EZ2 Read book from her class and I was hooked. I bought the first set and made little copies for my K children to carry home because it explains to the parents what to do right in the book. Telling them in my weekly letter is fine, but I know many don't read it or don't remember as so much is going on in their lives. This way, it's right where they can use the information! I also put copies of these in their table baskets because once we have done a little shared reading the children can easily read these without my introducing it. They know what to do and feel successful.
